Hi, it’s been awhile. I’ve left you guys with my posts from studying abroad and traveling around Asia, but for six months now, I’ve been back in the states.
Life has been flying since then. I’m halfway done with the spring quarter, and soon it’ll be summer. I’ll leave Savannah, again, and be home in Raleigh. Winter and spring quarter back in Savannah has been cold (Gab and I had no heat for a good three weeks), full of rooftop happy hours, and afternoons spent in the park.
I don’t know if I’m 100% ready to be home, but I am excited—I’ll be interning at a magazine downtown over the course of 10 weeks and I couldn’t be more excited.
Though Savannah is like home for me, and to imagine I only have one school year left in this town with my friends hurts my heart.
But I’m excited about summer, my favorite season. When the sun is always hot, but luckily cools down at night. The leaves are a vibrant green, inviting you outside through your bedroom window to go lay under them for hours.
Posting on here has been slim to none—school has been crazy. Between design classes (that I don’t want to take), writing a novel for fiction class (?? I know), and working on many other things that distract me from blogging is so time-consuming.
But I’m back, and hopefully will be writing here once again. Peel your eyes and be on the look-out! Also, keep your eyes open for the relaunch of many new podcast episodes this summer…
